L3D1-20 rounds was pleased i was able to get 20 rounds in. that is a significant increase in the amount of pullups compared to L1 and L2. pullups still the weak link. had to alternate grips(pullup, chinup, palms in) and have been doing them in not strict form (kicking legs down on last inch or so) Can't decide if i love or hate D1
did L3D2 today. pullups are getting easier. pushups were actually a little bit of a challenge! part of it may be i changed my hand position after reading this article: http://articles.elitefts.com/articles/t ... e-push-up/ hopefully will only be on L3 a week or 2. forgot to post that time was 5'14"
tried L3D3 yesterday and it was an absolute failure! not sure what is wrong but on pullups i would feel serious pain where my abs fastin to my rib cage. I quit at 13 pullups. I think i need to work on form. I realized I am combining leg raises with the pullup to help cheat my way up. I also think it is about time for a rest week. Trying to decide if i should lay off pullups completley or just go back to level one for the rest week. regardless i will wait untill tuesday to resume. that will give me three days of rest.
after than a longer than expected lay off i started with a "rest week" dropped back 2 levels to L1D1. did 35 rounds. am amazed at how differnt it was from the 1rst time in which i did l1d1 in which i only did 15 rnds! that was only 6 or so weeks ago. this time the limitting factor was much more cardio related than muscle related. I must have gained substantial strength and muscle endurance in the last 6 or so weeks. will finish a week of L1 then go back to L3.
