Tendinitis

Listen to your elbows for Tendinitis if you have progressed really quickly, you do not want it. I bring this up because I have had it and it really sucks, takes 6 weeks of rest to go away and I do not want any of you guys to get it. The thing is our muscles adapt faster then our tendons and connective tissue.

Cheers

does tendinitis apply for all ages or is it more commonly found in the older ranges. Also was wondering if theres some kind of way to avoid this by getting the correct nutritional value? More curious as to what and how causes this.

Tendonitis is an overuse injury. It is avoided by slowly building up your workout intensity levels to give your body time to adapt. It can happen at any age.

Since tendon hardly get any blood flow it is difficult to treat with anti-inflammatory medicines. Icing the affect part is the only real treatment. Acute tendonitis takes a long time to clear up, even with an agressive icing regimine.
