I've been doing the workouts and diet for a few weeks. I started out at level 3, but could not do the pullups - that's been my most difficult event. When I started I could only do 3 before muscle failure.

Now I'm up to level 4 across the board and can knock out 9 good pullups before needing a break. The one caveat is that I do all of my pullups underhand. Today I vowed that from now on I'll do at least half of my pullups overhand. That'll cost me some time at first but will be a benefit in the long run.

I'm now up to level 5 across the board. I've also been able to get my 2-mile run time down from over 18 minutes when I started to my time today of 15:16. :D I now do fully half of my pullups overhand. I'm down 8 pounds since I started, to 156.

All in all, I'm pleased. I run in a 5k a week from tomorrow.

good job on your 2 mile time...that is great!!!! I am new to this and so I am hoping that this will help my speed trials and tempo runs as well....keep up the good work!
