I agree with Kevin, your goals should be a guideline and you shouldn't get depressed if you don't meet them within the time period you planned. This summer I had planned to take a week off the Simple Fit program while on vacation and somehow it turned into a 5 week layoff :oops:
Needless to say I was depressed that I had fallen so far behind, almost to the point that I figured what was the use of going back. But back I went, and after a week I felt positive again and now, after a month I'm still going strong and have exceeded my pre-layoff levels.
I think we sometimes forget that the hardest part of any exercise program isn't necessarily the physical aspect, but the mental challenge of staying positive and staying motivated. Simplefit.org seems to help with both of those.
