Now that it's summer time, I'm beginning to notice that I have a lot more energy, especially at night. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what causes it. I'm pretty sure this happens every year whenever it gets warm, but it's hard to tell because I've always been an insomniac. Now, I have a sedentary day job and a very regular schedule. But at night, despite my level of general tiredness from the day's mental workout, I have a sudden burst of energy and want to put loud music on my iPod and run around the neighborhood. My six and a half year old dog can't even really keep up with the length of walk I want to take and the speed I want to do it at anymore.
I can't really narrow down any other things that might be causing this. My workouts are sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening, so I suppose it could be adrenaline. I usually eat dinner around 6 or 6:30 which is when I get home from work.
