I've updated the before/after pics because I just recently (today) hit my long-term goal of 175 pounds. That was the point at which I was going to stop focusing on fat loss and start focusing mostly on muscle building.

Thanks, I just updated the photo for 3 months versus 2 and a half and I got the benefit of being pumped after the sand bag workout. :D

I just read your log and you don't mention nutrition. Did you change that as well ? Looking at your results I'd say you did :)

I didn't cut out any of the stuff I like, I'm about 60-25-15 ratio of carbs, protein, fats. I just monitored total daily caloric intake with a goal of fat loss. Instead of drink two six-packs of beer on the weekend, I had two or three beers, stuff like that.

I may try the nutrition plan listed here once I switch over to a mainly muscle-building program.

I was lifting weights still during the before picture but I was eating and drinking too much and my lifting routines had zero intensity. I switched over to simplefit and really upped the intensity of every exercise I do now.

Sandbag Workout

I'm bored so here's a photo of me lifting my sandbag. You can see how loose it got during the workout. I was hesitant to tie it up tight at first because I wanted it to shift so it would work my core better but I think I could wrap rope around it pretty tight and it would still shift around quite a bit.

updated the before/after photo and providing a neat progression photo:

These photos document July, September 01, then October 07, then October 27, then November 12 when I hit my goal of 175 and had a bodyfat reading of between 17 and 18%

Your results are amazing! I've been at it almost as long as you, and I haven't mad enearly enough progress! congrats!
