Well, it seems as if my body is really content at the 138-140 pound mark. I am healthier and stronger than I have ever been. My waist size is a 30, and men's medium shirts are very comfortable to wear. I am not going to beat myself into the ground to get to 130-135 pounds. At 5' 5", I feel great. I can do 30-35 full pullups at any given time, and 50-60 full pushups. I stay under the 2000 calorie per day mark each day, but I enjoy what I eat each day. I have tightened up on my sodium intake, and I usually average drinking 85 ounces of water per day. I do not use sugar. I have found that I do really well eating the Kashi brand cereals and bars. I have a couple of Guinness Stouts every night, and I have lean protein and vegetables and fruit each day. I am really looking forward to the summer vegetable season, and I am currently having a family raised cow butchered. It was grain fed and was killed at 800-1000 pounds. There is nothing like raising your own beef!
One thing that has helped me out quite a bit is the Calorie King website and book. I had heard Jillian Michaels talk about it alot, so I bought the book. This book is INDISPENSIBLE if you are forced to eat out alot, or if you really want to stay on top of your daily food intake. The website updates often, too. I urge each of you to buy this book! I got mine at Amazon for around $8.00. I carry mine with me every day.
