Hey guys,

I've been lurking, but thought I should start this up as well. I'm 5 feet 11 inches, 18 years old, and weigh about 170 pounds.

Before moving to university, I weighed even more, and I was flabby without much muscle, so I've started working out once I learned about this website. It unfortunately has not been consistent (especially with exams and papers that sometimes sneak up on you), so I have what I have.

I'm a vegetarian, so that really contributes to me feeling active and clear headed most of the day. Here's my progress so far:

Level Day Rounds/Time
Week 1
X 1 1 19
X 1 2 7:00
X 1 3 6:33
Week 2
X 1 1 24
X 1 2 10:12
Week 3
X 1 1 28
X 1 2 9:53
X 1 3 7:50
Week 4
X 1 1 17
X 1 2 11:01
X 1 3 15:00
Level Day Rounds/Time
Week 5
X 1 1 16

Before Week 4, I didn't have access to a pull-up bar, so I just imagined really hard that I was using a pull up bar, and I would physically act it out like it took all my effort. Then I started doing body rows using a towel on a bar (3 times for every 1 pull-up). That was Week 4, and then there has been a 2 week break in between due to exams. I'm on Week 5 now, and I'm committed to sticking with this program.

I really want to develop my shoulders, since they feel really lanky and round, without any definition, and definitely work on my chest. But this workout has really helped me out, and I feel a definite improvement.

Week 5
X 1 1 16
X 1 2 10:25

I'm feeling a definite something everytime I work out now. By the 4th round, I was feeling a bit exhausted, but the first 3 were easy going. I'm feeling good.

Week 5
X 1 1 16
X 1 2 10:25
X 1 3 5:50

Wow. I feel great. I've never done it this fast and this properly.

It took 15 pushups before I started struggling.

Awesome job! Your statement reminds me of a similar realization I had when I realized I pumped out a bunch of push-ups in a row way beyond where I normally fatigued. This was back at Level 1 or 2 I forget but, yeah, that was fun to notice. Again, grat job, keep it up.

Week 6
X 1 1 24
X 1 2 7:02

Back in university, and finally all moved and settled in. It's going to be a busy semester, and I've resolved to stick with exercising. So I had time today, so i started this, and I was pleasantly surprised near the end that this was the lowest time I've taken to do level 1, day 2.

Time to go to class!

Although compared to many of you, my progress is marginal, I feel great!

Week 7

Fine. One last week doing Level 1. Let's see how this works. Unfortunately, I'm having problems staying regular, but I will have to try harder to stay on track.

Health is important, after all.

you can do it, reward yourself with something you love to eat 20 minutes post workout. After you workout and feel the high commit it to memory so you will want to achieve it again.

Week 7
X 1 1 26
X 1 2 8:12
X 1 3 5:04

That was week 7. And it took more than a week to get there due to busy deadlines, and a weekend home with the family. On Thursday, I shall be working on level 2.

Can't wait!

Thanks for the support guys.

Sticking with doing this every other day! On track on the first day of level 2. Let's hope I can stick with it.
