If it weren't for the pictures we might think you were a robot. Seriously, that's impressive.

Week 111

Week 111
    Monday, May 10, 2010
    D1L7:
      26 (-1 cf. previous D1L7, -1 cf. previous PR)

      26 rounds!
      =
      104 Pull-Ups
      208 Push-Ups
      312 Squats

I think I might have miscounted last week!

      Pictures.
    D2L7
      Skipped.

      Busy at work this week...again.
    Sunday, May 16, 2010
    D3L7:
      6'49" (+0'12" cf. previous D3L7, +0'12" cf. previous PR)
      Pull-ups: 40 (24-5-1-4-3-2-1)
      Push-ups: 80 (30-10-7-3-5-5-10-5-5)
      Squats: 80 (58-10-12)

Oops. A bit slower than last week.

I had a very busy week at work and ended the week with a site visit about 4 hours (by car) away. By the time Saturday morning rolled around, I wasn't ready to work out.
But, by the afternoon, I was feeling better, so I promised myself I'd workout Sunday morning.

After Day 3 and a bit of breakfast, my nine year old son and I drove to a local park to attend an informal yoga class by the ocean.

Weeks 112 & 113

Postby cheapo » Mon May 24, 2010 6:29 am

Week 112
    Monday, May 17, 2010
    Rest Week:
      Took it easy workout-wise.
Elsewhere in my life things were pretty hectic.

Week 113
    Monday, May 24, 2010
    D1L7:
      22 (-4 cf. previous D1L7, -5 cf. previous PR)

      22 rounds!
      =
      88 Pull-Ups
      176 Push-Ups
      264 Squats

It's a holiday Monday here in Canada. I decided to work out in the morning, so I wouldn't have to worry about squeezing it in later in the day. Combination of Day 1 + morning + my injured thigh resulted in the lower result. I think Day 1 benefits from being done after a good frustrating day at work!

      Pictures.

Week 117

Postby cheapo » Tue Jun 22, 2010 5:28 pm

Week 117
    Monday, June 21, 2010
    D1L7:
28 PR (+1 cf. previous D1L7, +1 cf. previous PR)

      28 rounds
      =
      112 Pull-Ups
      224 Push-Ups
      336 Squats

      Pictures.
    Wednesday, June 16, 2010
    D2L7:
6'03" PR (-0'03" cf. previous D1L7, -0'03" cf. previous PR)

Just a tiny bit faster than last week.
My lats were killing me on the pushups!
    Saturday, June 19, 2010
    D3L7:
6'22" PR (-0'3" cf. previous D3L7, -0'3" cf. previous PR)
      Pull-ups: 40 (28-4-4-4)
      Push-ups: 80 (30-15-10-10-5-5-3-2)
      Squats: 80 (50-?-?-5)

      Gah. 6'22"

I guess its a success, because I was faster than last week...by 3 seconds!

Lets see. Shave 3 seconds off my time each week; I am 83 seconds above the 4'59" required to beat this level...83/4 = 28 weeks...more than 6 months!

I really don't see myself doing Day 1 28 more times!

Push-ups seem to be the real issue. (Well, 80 push-ups after 40 pull-ups are the issue.) I need to build up my push-up capacity.

I am starting level 3 this week, so level 7 looks impressive. I can't imagine 112 pullups. I can't wait to get there!

Week 118

Postby cheapo » Mon Jun 28, 2010 3:15 pm

Week 118 - Rest Week
    Monday, June 28, 2010
    D1L5:
      25 (-2 cf. previous D1L5, -2 cf. previous PR)

      25 rounds
      =
      75 Pull-Ups
      125 Push-Ups
      200 Squats

I am so glad I am due for a rest week. After achieving a D1L7 PR of 28 rounds last week, I was truly dreading attempting to meet or beat that mark this week!

      Pictures.
    Wednesday, June 30, 2010
    D2L7:
      8'11" (New Format)
      8/24/40: 1'25"
      16/48/80: 3'10"
      16/48/80: 3'36"

In an effort to better prepare for Day 3, I am rejigging Day 2 as shown above.
      I might even try:
      8/24/40
      32/96/160
      8/24/40

    D3L7:
      Skipped.
I worked 3 days of a four-day long weekend on renovations to the exterior of our house. It counts as a workout!

Could you tell me what "cf" means? Not got that acronym yet. Nice job, was sad to see the missed days, but life happens!

CF just means "compared to". At least in this instance.
