I took my kids to the new playground at their school yesterday. School is out, and we had the place to ourselves. I found out that playgrounds are a great place to workout. If any of you are looking to “mix it up”, try one of your local spots out.
This really lit my fire to build my outdoor pullup station!
I just spent twenty minutes yesterday doing sprints in a freezing local park, and just seeing the playground made me want to jump on! I’ll try that out. I was never an athletic kid, and never could handle the monkey bars, so now is the time to conquer them! HA!
I’m thinking that I could use the playground for myself as well as the kids and wife. I’ve been checking out CrossFit Kids, and I think that it may fun as well as good for the kids. I have been thinking that my wife could actually use alot of this program, and that some of the movements could be mixed in with my current regimen for variety.
