I believe the point of scaling back once a month is to give your body a break and prevent overtraining. If you’ve been really working hard then a week break will give your body extra time to recuperate, both physically and mentally. I don’t like scaling back or taking breaks either, but I use that week to work on stretching and psych myself up for the next week.
I made it past lvl 4 with a time of 4:41 seconds . What I did to beat it was break up the pullups into sets of 2 so Id do 2 pullups wait 5 seconds and then to 2 more it helped a lot in not letting fatigue set in.
