    I’m tired of being fat and lazy!! Today’s weight 174 lbs (at 5’10”) – Goal weight is 160 lbs and to fit in a size 8 (currently a size 10) and look GREAT in a bikini and not average!

    Whew….finally started L1 D1: 22 rounds even though the pull-ups were more like chin-ups with chair assistance. I did manage the push-ups on my toes. Hopefully I will get stronger and can do the pull-ups without the chair.

    This is a beginning……

    L1 D2 (4/18/2010):

    5 rounds for time – 2 pull ups, 6 push ups, 10 squats

    Begin: 10:15:00 am

    End: 10:21:50 am

    Total: 6 minutes 50 seconds

    Total: 10 pull-ups, 30 push-ups, 30 squats

    I had to do the last 2 push ups on my knees. I’m still using the chair for pull up assistance. Overall, great workout – even though a little sore from D1.

    So far, so good. Now to just get my diet in check!

    L1 D3:

    for time

    10 pull-ups

    21 push-ups

    21 squats

    accomplished in 3 minutes but still had to use chair for assistance with pull-ups. also did 10 push-ups on toes and 11 on knees. Even though I completed less than 5 minutes, I feel I need to stay at this level until I can do the pull-ups without assistance and the push-ups on toes.

    I did learn that my quads are really sore!!

    Been out of the workout game a little bit, but have started adapting the Paleolithic Style of eating. After the first day, I’ve shed 6 pounds which I’m sure is mostly water weight. Now….to get back on the workouts!

    5/14: Walk/Jog 2.5 miles

    5/15: Walk/Jog 3 miles

    5/16: Walk/Jog 3 miles

    Beginning training for the Peachtree Road Race on July 4th!!

    5/21: Walked 3 miles this morning. Will get in simplefit exercises this afternoon!

    5/25: 7:10 pm – 7:30 pm

    L1D1 – 28 rounds!

    1 pull-up (with chair assistance) [28 pull-ups]

    2 push-ups (all on toes except last 4 sets on knees) [56 push-ups]

    3 deep squats [84 squats]

    Great workout considering I haven’t done these in a few weeks.

    10 squats [50 squats]

    Total time: 5 minutes 10 seconds

    Great workout – still sore from workout on Tuesday.

    5/31/10: L1D3

    Did a little variation as I did not have access to my pull-up bar:

    10 dumbbell rows (10 lbs)

    21 push-ups (knees except for 3 on toes)

    21 squats

    Start: 8:04:15

    End: 8:06:27

    2 minutes 12 seconds

    I’ll stay at this level until I can get all push-ups on toes.

    35 rounds (10 rounds on toes for pushups; 25 rounds on knees)

    1 pull-up w/chair assistance for all rounds [35 pull-ups]

    2 push-ups [70 push-ups]

    3 squats [105 squats]

    I can tell I’m getting better. When I first started, I could only do 22 rounds!

    I will probably move up to Level 2 next week even though I’m still doing some push-ups on my toes and pull-ups with the chair assistance. If I don’t, I’m afraid I’ll be stuck on Level 1 forever.
