    Welcome aboard!

If you cannot do any pull-ups, you should start at Level 1.

All your days should be at the same level.

    Level 3 (3x pullups with chair) 5:30

Hey Cheapo! I feel like if I did level 1 I wouldn’t get a good number of pushups or squats in. Pullups are defiantly a challenge. But using chair substitution and doing 3x as many seems to be a good workout for my back.

    Cheers!

I have taken Cheapo’s advice. And moved down to level 2 with no assistance with the pullups

    Level 4 (3x pull-ups with chair) 3:07

FLU FOR A WEEK – it hit me hard (its supposed to be a rest week anyway right?)

    2/212011

    Level 2 Day 1

14 Reps – struggled with the last 7-8 sets

    2/23/2011 Day 2 Level 2

Forgot to time :-( But I did complete it!

    2/25/2011 Day 3 Level 2

    8:32

    2/28/2011 Day 1 Level 2

15 Sets – the last sets pull ups felt a lot easier than last week.

I am also doing Ab Ripper X from p90x workouts. I do these workouts Monday Wed and Fri, then the ab workout Tues, THurs, Sat.

Will keep posting logs when I remember :-)

How do I know when to try level 3?

Move up a level when you can complete Day 3 (of your current level) in less than 5 minutes.

    Day 3 3/5/2011 Level 2

    8:30

    Day 1 3/7/2011 Level 2

    19

    Day 2 3/9/2011 Level 2

3:30 – Pull-ups gave me even less trouble this week. Only really struggled on the last 2

    Day 3 3/11/2011

6:36 – Really wanted to level up but I am still really happy I blew last weeks time of 8:30 out of the water. Getting much better at those pull-ups!

So do I do level 1 next week since I did 3 full weeks of level 2?

Or should I just stick with level 2 next week?

That’s up to you. To be honest, I’d completely forgotten about rest weeks for months! Your post reminded me. They are a good idea, though.

I did level 1 for a week. For a rest week

    Day 1 3/14/11 Level 1 – 25 sets

    Day 2 3/16/11 Level 1 – Complete no time

    Day 3 3/18/11 Level 1 – 3:10

    Day 1 3/21/11 Level 2 – 25 sets

Day 2 3/23/11 Level 2 Complete no time

I honestly was so focused on leveling up I forgot that it was only thursday when I got home… But I did it anyway and…..

    Day 3 3/24/11 Level 2 – 4:26

    DING! Level up

Level 3 watch out I am here to kick your ass.

First week of Level 3…. Damn shit got real

Day 1 Level 3 3/28/2011 14 Sets 2x pullups each time really hindered me

Day 2 Level 3 3/30/2011 Complete DNT (Did not time) Felt pretty good. Same 3 pullups as level 2. More pushups and squats were not a problem

Day 3 Level 3 4/1/2011 6:40 damn this was hard.
