I did my first workout yesterday which was Level 3 Day 1. I am very sore today. I managed 17 rounds in 20 minutes. My abs are even sore and I didn’t do any crunches!

I also tried my first day of IF and was very hungry by the time I eventually ate. Will this hunger feeling get less as I go along? Iwould really like to stick with this. My other concern about IF is just getting enough to eat. It seems like it will be hard to do with my 8-5 work schedule and lunch at noon. Any ideas or help would be great.

    This is a great website!

    What’s ‘IF’?

If I had to guess, I’d say the the stands for ‘Fasting’, but I seriously have no idea.

    Just wondering.

If will get really easy after about 2 weeks and your body adjusts.

If you do not intend to lose weight try to consume your regular level of calories during your reduced window. If you are doing paleo this may be difficult and you might need to include yams and more fruit to hit your carb needs.

    If stands for intermittent fasting.

Amazing how pull ups push ups and squats work the core isn’t it, these simple compound movements are hitting most major muscle groups thats way the workouts are so effective. Keep up the good work!

You will also be very surprised how different Monday Wednesday and Friday are even though they use the same movements ;)

    Cheers

I have done the Level 1 Day 3 workout and completed it in 5min 44 sec. That seems a little fast. The only thing is my pullups are not really good pullups. I have to do jump pullups. What should I do? Go up a level? Stay at the same level and just try to work on my pullup for and get stronger with them? Any help/advice would be great. Thanks!

    Nice work!

I added a new pull up section http://www.simplefit.org/pullup.html

I would say your best bet if you want to get as close to a pull up as possible would be with body rows. You can vary the resistance by changing the angle of your body. They are really great exercises for developing the pull up.

Here is a great article on body rows

Rings are great to have and easy to make I will try to find an article.

You can go up a level or keep working this one focusing on getting you pull ups, your call.
