    hello. i just found simplefit while lurking on the crossfit forum. thank god i found this place.

    i’m just looking to improve my total body strength and shed some pounds. i also practice brazilian jiujitsu and muay thai for close to 4 years.

    so here my stats:

    5’10-235lbs. (yeah i know i’m obese according to the bmi).

    day 1 lv1:30rds

    the pull-ups were hard so i did jumping pull-ups. the push-ups and squats were’nt so bad.

    day2 lv1: 14:47

    i decided to do “negative pull-ups”. the long rest between rounds made it kinda easy to finish all 5 rounds.

    can’t wait to do day 3.

    today i did 30 minutes on the stair trendmill. increasing the speed every 6 minutes.

    day 3 starts tommorrow.

    i also did ab work for 5 minutes. basically swithing to a different ab exercise for ever minute for 5 minutes.

    from here on out i’ll just post my results on a weekly basis unless i hit some major milestone. think i will move up to level 2. mainly cuz i’m able to do the push-up and squat requirements of level one without any difficulty. but i will continue to focus on pull-ups by way of jumping pull-ups and negatives.

    pull-ups is the villian i must defeat.

    lv2 day1: 30 rounds. much harder.

    lv2 day2: 16minutes. again much harder.

    i was unable to do lv2 day 3. my knee was bugging me.

    i will be staying on lv 2 again this week.

    sorry of the poor attendance. i either been on vacation or trying to recover from various injuries. i’ll be starting back today at lv 1.
