    Week 1

    05/08/2012 – D1L1 – 33 rounds

    05/10/2012 – D2L2 – 6:15 (no rest between rounds)

    05/12/2012 – D3L1 – 2:23

    Week 2

    05/15/2012 – D1L2 – 30 rounds (I don’t remember feeling this winded in my life)

    05/17/2012 – D2L2 – 5:28 Significant improvement over the previous week (no rest between rounds)

    05/19/2012 – D3L2 – 3:08 Pull ups and push ups done in sets. Unable to do 13 pull ups continuously.

    Will continue with L2 next week. Also, will take two day rest after D1 instead of after D3.

    Week 3

    05/21/2012 – D1L2 – 34 rounds (Big improvement and better recovery time)

    05/24/2012 – D2L2 -4:22 (2 min rest between rounds)

    05/26/2012 – will be on a short vacation. I will do some combination of dive bomber pushups, squats and planks

    Will continue with L2 next week. Next workout on 5/29.

    Welcome to Simplefit. That’s a great start! The collective wisdom is that when you get to about 30 rounds on D1, you’re getting into the leveling up range.

    05/31/2012 – D1L3 – 21 rounds (after a relatively long and tiring break, 30 rounds seems a loooong way away)

    06/04/2012 – D2L3 – 4:56 (2 min rest between rounds)

    06/06/2012 – D3L3 – 5:43 Pull ups and push ups done in sets.

    Will continue with L3 next round.

    06/13/2012 – D2L3 – 5:18 (1 min rest between rounds)

    06/15/2012 – D3L3 – 4:51 Pull ups and push ups done in sets.

    Will continue with L3 next round.

    Great job! It looks like you are really ready for level 4. The D2 time with 1 min rests is particularly impressive. Everyone does the pull-ups and push-ups in sets for D3. The important thing is that they are done sequentially (i.e. all of the pull-ups before any of the push-ups, rather than in rounds like D2).

    Just to clarify D2L3 of 5:18 (1 min rest between rounds) means total time taken was 9:18. After subtracting 4 min for the rests I get 5:18.

    Severe muscle strain in upper back/neck area. I think I’ll be out of commission for 6 -8 weeks.

    Bummer.

    p.s. Not due to simplefit, but from getting extremely tense in the dentist’s chair.

    Wow that really sucks. I guess maybe you could still do squats. Let us know how the recovery goes.
