My ultimate goal is simple. I want to be able to do the Cross-fit WOD before I’m 30. That leaves me 2 years.

My starting state is not quite being able to do the Lvl1 SimpleFit workout so I’ve a long way to go.

A shorter term goal is to be able to fully complete a 3 day round of Lvl2 By the end of May.

Looks? Meh, I don’t care, I just want to get fit.

Thanks – I sure hope so.

Man, I’m like a walking ache machine at the moment – my shoulders have a constant ‘good workout’ ache. I think it’s mostly the pushups kicking me.

Well, thanks to my mess up on the pull-up bar settings I’m gonna miss my first goal of L2 by the end of May. Although I’m feeling close to it which is cool.

No worries though – I’m just going to set a new goal and keep going.

New goal: Lvl3 by the end of June.

I agree with Kevin, your goals should be a guideline and you shouldn’t get depressed if you don’t meet them within the time period you planned. This summer I had planned to take a week off the Simple Fit program while on vacation and somehow it turned into a 5 week layoff 😳

Needless to say I was depressed that I had fallen so far behind, almost to the point that I figured what was the use of going back. But back I went, and after a week I felt positive again and now, after a month I’m still going strong and have exceeded my pre-layoff levels.

I think we sometimes forget that the hardest part of any exercise program isn’t necessarily the physical aspect, but the mental challenge of staying positive and staying motivated. Simplefit.org seems to help with both of those.

Keep us posted on how you’re doing.

Heh, thanks folks. Yeah, I’m not that depressed about it – after all I can actually *see* the benefits of the simplefit workout :D (thanks Kevin!)

It’s just irritating not to meet goals (I’m a perfectionist who hates not managing what I set out to do)!

Woot – by accident I ended up on L3. But I’ve been able to stick with it all week :D There we go… Junes goal achieved :yippie:

I’ve got to up date the goal for October to be smooth L3 :D
