I’ve heard of SF and am excited to begin it this week. I have been eating vegan for over 2 months and dropped 30 pounds, but at 5’8 and 226 I have more work to do. I plan to do the 3 days/week of SF but have always heard HIIT is great to incorporate. I’m considering adding in 2-3 days of HIIT/week in addition to SF, but it seems SF is a type of HIIT in and of itself.
I’ve searched the boards a bit but had a hard time finding a simple answer. What would you all recommend? For the HIIT I’m thinking of a variation of wind sprints, biking, elliptical, etc., but all ‘cardio’ HIIT.

Simplefit is “high intensity interval training” don’t over do it simplefit will get you there slow and steady wins the race dont rush and injure yourself simplefit will kick your @$$ good enough for now
Agree with Admin that SF is HIIT if you are looking for anything else I posted a couple of circuits on my wall let me know if you do them but like Admin says go easy nothing worse than an injury.
O as well something I use to do was find a steep hill start at the bottom start with 10 press ups sprint to top jog back down, 10 squats sprint to the top jog down etc changing the exercise you do every time I had about 10 different exercises.
I think simplefit + cardio is a great way to go. When you get up a few levels into simplefit you’ll have a better sense of whether it is worthwhile or manageable to add any additional workouts or exercises. For now what is important is that you keep motivated. Looking forward to making progress on Simplefit is a great motivator.
