L2/D1 – 34
34 seemed pretty good for my first time. This is a big change from Project Swole’s 3×5 program. Hope the results are good.June 14, 2010 at 1:35 am #119426cook12345Participant
I see you cruising right on to Levels 2, 3, 4 & 5 – my husband did great first day!June 15, 2010 at 2:02 am #119427 I hope I progress and show results. Cheapo’s pictures inspired me to try this program.June 15, 2010 at 1:22 pm #119428cheapoParticipant Glad I could help!
How did you find out about the program? Are you at MDA?June 16, 2010 at 12:54 am #119429mary_l_turnerParticipant
Yes, MDA. We are liking this so far. However, it’s such a short workout compared to what we were doing before. At least the first few levels are short. I am sure once I get to levels 4, 5, and so on, it will be more difficult and take longer.June 16, 2010 at 12:58 am #119430 L2/D2 – 45, 45, 45, 47, 37 – 219 minutes or 3 minutes 39 seconds.
I am pretty sure I will be moving to level 3.June 16, 2010 at 2:15 am #119431cook12345Participantjohn_e_turner_ii wrote:

Cheapo’s progress pictures convinced my husband and son to try this program
I’m thinking you’ll definitely be cruising through to level 3…June 19, 2010 at 6:36 pm #119432
L2/D3- 3:00 on the dot. Moving to Level 3 for next week. I can see it being a little more challenging.June 21, 2010 at 2:04 am #119433 L3/D1: 25 rounds. This was hard today. Good advice, don’t eat a huge breakfast before Day 1. It definitely affected my performance, but I still felt like I did pretty well.June 24, 2010 at 2:11 am #119434 L3/D2: 51, 51, 54, 53, 51 for a total of 260 seconds or 4 minutes 20 seconds.
I felt pretty good through Day 2. I am pretty sure I can complete L3/D3 in 5 minutes or less.June 26, 2010 at 5:53 pm #119435
L3/D3 – 4 min 13 seconds.
Not bad, but I can tell that moving on to Level 4 will be a real challenge.
I started on Level 2, which was relatively easy. Level 3 wasn’t much harder, but Day 3 was more challenging. I am looking forward to the increased reps and hope it produces good results.June 27, 2010 at 2:13 pm #119436
L4/D1: 24 rounds
Just as I thought, L4 is much more challenging. I was hoping to get in 25, but couldn’t quite do it.June 28, 2010 at 12:53 am #119437cheapoParticipant
Diving right in, eh?
Welcome to Level 4.
24 is a strong result.
Are you feeling or seeing any changes in yourself?June 28, 2010 at 8:41 pm #119438
I thought I did pretty well with 24 until my 22 year old son finished 29 rounds. This was the first time he tried Simplefit. However, I will say that he has been doing somewhat of a Simplefit routine for a while now. In fact, the Iron Gym pullup bar we use is his that he has been using for several months.
His main problem was the squats, since he focused primarily on pullups and pushups.
Still, I am happy with 24 rounds. One thing I noticed today was the soreness in my deltoids. I have never really felt that from doing chest work, so it must be all the reps. I hope I can finish D3 in 5 minutes. It’s going to be tough!June 30, 2010 at 2:23 am #119439
L4/D2: 62, 62, 58, 60, 61 seconds, for a total of 5 minutes 3 seconds.
I feel much stronger on my pullups today than any day so far. I am looking forward to D3 to see if I can do it in 5 minutes. I know it’s going to be close.
