I will post what I eat this week for reference
1 tablespoon fish oil
2 cup blue berries
large chicken breast cut up and mixed with avocado + !hot! chili sauce
large salad ( olive oil vinegar )
4 oz top round grass fed beef ( lean and grass fed very healthy )
“pluat” some weird hybrid fruit that is really good
little almond butter
I should note that I am not trying to drop fat right now so my fat/fruit intake is a little higher than if I was trying to cut fat.June 6, 2007 at 6:49 pm #110485Bri3626Participant

Thanks for the reference and all the great info on the site. I just finished reading the Paleo diet and this seems to tie right in to what I’m starting.July 11, 2007 at 6:11 pm #110491July 11, 2007 at 7:19 pm #110492 What is you current situation how much do you want to lose?July 13, 2007 at 5:27 pm #110493 In general the food log above will rip fat off the average person really fast, if you really need to lose allot of fat I would say reduce the amount of carbs maybe around 40-80 gram a day from green vegetables and a little berries. Maybe I will write up a very specific quick loss plan if there is interest.July 17, 2007 at 3:12 am #110494Bri3626Participant I like your posting. It helps me to stay on track. One problem I’ve found is I have no actual support in the house with this so I’m on my own to make this happen. There lies my sticking point as I don’t spend a lot of time in the kitchen. But, I’m slowly starting to change.
Just have to plan better and avoid the friggin pizzas that keep popping up for dinner.
🙄July 17, 2007 at 3:24 am #110495 Yeah, I think the recipe section will be good for this.

Hey Bri, same problem here, no support from rest of family, and not really inclined to spend more time in the kitchen.
The annoying point is that most of the rest of the famiily needs better nutrition and more exercise much more than me.July 17, 2007 at 2:49 pm #110497
That is usually the case, you just gotta push past it and set an example.
In my house I have my own “spaces” for my food and it seems to help a little
Yesterday was my kids bday and he wanted cup cakes, pizza, and ice cream.. my three arch enemy’s but I was able to pull through it was hard though.
Especially since my wife cooked the cupcakes and they smelled good
