Would you guys be interested in having workouts like these integrated into the program around level 3? they would be scaled to be constant with the current level?

    For time:

    50 lunge

    50 Push up

    50 inverted pull ups

    50 dips

    50 evil wheel

    50 back extensions

    50 squat

    50 inverted pull ups

    21-15-9 reps, for time

    pull ups

    hand stand push ups

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest

    8 intervals push up

    8 intervals pull up

    8 intervals evil wheel

    8 intervals squat

There is no rest between exercises

    21-15-9 reps, for time

    inverted pull ups

    dips

    Any feedback is appreciated

    cheers

Absolutely. The more variance and prep for crossfit, the better, methinks.

Yeah, and still now equipment necessary besides a pull up bar, although rings would be a huge +

Definitely integrate. And try to find an animation or video for each exercise. They’re so much easier to use than verbal descriptions or stills.

I think this may make things too complicated. The draw for me to this site is the simple workout plan and concept, as more things are added, it becomes harder to follow, and will become like the rest.

Certainly, I think for tailored group of people who feels that their workout is lacking something yet not able to advance to next level, additional training in that area or another area may help to supplement them in succeeding.

For example, I have been supplementing in abdominal crunches in my workouts and extra legs (runs, bike rides, stair climbing) on off days, and yoga routines to increase flexibility, but it maybe difficult for everyone to do the same, and people may not have additional time nor the equipment.

Thanks for the feedback, I am leaning towards keeping the core stuff as is and than providing extra optional workouts on a separate page for those who are interested.

I will keep exploring ways to present you guys with the best possible balance simple and effective. As I have mentioned before I am hard at work creating a random workout generator to be used at your discretion in addition to the regular simplefit workout.

Thanks gain for the feedback I really do appreciate it. The one definite consensus it that people really do like the simplicity so it will be preserved.

    Cheers

I agree with those saying that simple is better – it is what drew many of us here in the first place. That being said, however, I think posting a separate page of optional workouts is a good idea, provided the simple, core exercises remain intact/untouched.

    Just my two cents.

Same here, a great thing for those interested but also could deter some people as it strays from the very simple regimen you already have. A separate page would be great.

    cheers

I feel the same way as mostly everyone else here. Adding additional complexity should be optional.

Cool, well I hear you guys loud and clear and will make it optional.

    Thanks for the outstanding feedback!
