    Hi, I’m new to simple fit and just completed level 1 day 3 in 3 minutes I can do everything pretty well except pull ups I only did 2 dead hangs and then had to go to assisted for the rest. Should I go on to level 2 and continue to do assisteds or stick back with level 1 and just try to get an extra pull up or 2 out?

    Could you have completed a few more unassisted pull-ups if you had waited longer between attempts? I’d say stick with L1 for now.

    If you can do even 1 unassisted pull-up you are far, far ahead of those who cannot. Working up to an unassisted pull-up takes a long time, on the other hand, once you can do them (as you can), gains come quickly.

    I agree – after all, you’re not trying to level up, you’re trying to get fitter.


    I waited. Same reasons. Rest longer on L1D3 and see – you could probably do them all if you waited a minute or two in between attempts. Test it and see – if you paced yourself for 15 minutes you probably would finish it, and 15 minutes is, by most standards, a pretty short workout.
