Level 1 -Day 2
5 Rounds – 1:12
Felt easy but I’m taking going to move through the program progressively. Can’t wait to get rocking with the later levels.April 24, 2012 at 11:35 pm #123063
L1 Day 2 – 1:52 total time not including rests
I went up to L3 Day 3 to see what I could do and completed it in 2:49. Feel like puking! Good stuff!April 27, 2012 at 12:38 pm #123064
That’s a great start! You should be well into level 4, maybe even 5. You rocked the first 3 levels, pretty soon you’ll find the level that will start rocking you.May 1, 2012 at 11:58 pm #123066 Thanks a lot KTG. Fell off b/c of work and fam but did L4 D1 today. Got in 27 rounds. Felt good.
So guess that’s 54 pull ups, 108 pushups and 162 squats. Aight!May 5, 2012 at 8:03 pm #123067
L4 D2 – 4:16. Such a quick workout but felt great.May 7, 2012 at 11:22 pm #123068 L4 D3 – 4:22. Rough! Definitely going to be stuck on L5 for a while. Maybe I should just go through this again, in fact that’s what I’m going to do.May 10, 2012 at 12:09 am #123065 L5 D1
Struggled tonight. Too many late nights these days.May 11, 2012 at 12:05 pm #123069
Nice work! Level 5 might finally slow you down a little, but given how you smashed level 4, I wouldn’t think you’ll be on 5 for too long.May 13, 2012 at 3:40 pm #123070 Thanks KTG, appreciate the motivation.
L5 D2 – 5:01.
Felt great. Love this workout.May 24, 2012 at 11:06 pm #123071
Work and life been in the way, need to get more workouts in.
L5 D3 – I stopped at 5 min instead of completing all. Oops. Did 23 pullups, 43 pushups, 51 squats.
I mixed them up, prefer that rather than wasting time on waiting for my lats and bis too cool down and doing nothing.May 25, 2012 at 12:20 pm #123072
Until Simplefit becomes an Olympic event, everyone gets to do it however they want. Still, just FYI, the norm for D3 is to do all of the pull-ups, then all of the push-ups, and then the squats. Each of the exercises gets broken up into whatever sets and whatever rests are necessary to get through. Super-sets are for D1 and D2. Pushing the muscles through the cool-down phases (and shortening those rests) is a big part of the D3 workout.May 26, 2012 at 4:18 pm #123073 Great I’ve asked that question but haven’t had it so well explained. Appreciate it. L5 D1 again today.May 30, 2012 at 11:56 pm #123074 L5 D2 – 4:35 Good stuff. More than 30 seconds faster than last time.June 6, 2012 at 11:48 pm #123075 L5 D3 – 8:20. Thanks to KTG for telling me how to complete this day. Was tough.
Lots of rest during the pulls – about 4:45 just for them in a 6-5-4-4-3-4 patter. Pushups I got 21-14-5-5-6. 8:20 total. Back to L5 D1.June 8, 2012 at 4:13 pm #123076
Great times! Doing D3 sequentially is a lot tougher. Figuring out how to program the reps and the rests is key.
