Ive been working on my air squat and can’t get the correct form 👿 . Solved my problem tonight by putting a ball behind me and squatting on it. Is that okay? I would like to continue using a ball until I am doing my air squats in perfect form.
Yeah, thats good also an adjustable office chair or anything else you can gradually lower is good. Don’t bounce on the ball just tap it at the bottom of your squat. Other things that can help is foot width apart and angle of toes.
The ball (or any other suitable item) is excellent for those of us who have trouble “breaking the parallell plain” (getting low enough)
Another remedy is the “bottom to bottoms” approach, where you work to spend more time in the bottom part of the squat than the top. I know I always start at the top, squat quickly down, then come immediately back up for a short breather. Instead, try to start at the bottom, go up and come immediately back down.
