I think the advertising by gyms and home exercise equipments leads many people to think they need to purchase and learn to use fancy equipment to be in shape when a mid-level Simplefit level of fitness would put you in the top percentage of people. Hopefully I’ll be someone who lives to an old age while still retaining the ability to do push-ups, pull-ups and squats. At least that’s the plan.

I agree. I rarely see anyone from day to day that can do 32+ pull-ups or 78 push-ups ups(my PRs). It makes me happy/proud and sad at the same time. It is so easy to be in shape once you get started. I wish more people knew that.
