Re: Kaos' log
Kaos, Reading thru your logs I saw you were doing body rows. Are you still doing them ? Do you sub. 3 for 1 pullup? My friend does rows and he has obtained some nice back development from doing them. I tried some the other day but trying to do them 3 for 1 slowed my time down especially on Day 1 th...
Re: Kaos' log
Are you doing any set program like starting strength or something like that? I'm curious what people move into after SF (although most seem to move into crossfit). Standard program provided by the gym: focused on two groups by day, three times a week. Each day I start with cardio, then abs, then th...
Re: Kaos' log
Great to get the update. As you get into your new routine I would be particularly interested to know which exercises you find that SF prepared you better or worse for. Cardio and arm/chest training is far easier than what I originally thought it would be after SF. I can honestly tell you that the h...
Re: Kaos' log
Hey guys! So, right now I'm at 151 Lbs of weight and 13.6% of body fat. I'm not digging that much my low weight but hopefully with good training and eating I'll get to a comfortable place with it (and my muscle mass).
Just passing by to say hi and telling you about my new results.

Re: Kaos' log
Of course! I will try to keep a log from my gym results.

Re: Kaos' log
Hey KTG, I headed to the gym mostly because I'm going for strenght training now. SF worked it's "magic" and I managed to get myself in shape, now it's mostly vanity. Therefore, for the time being, SF is a on a leave of abscense.

Re: Kaos' log
This past few week, for a variety of reason, my workout schedule got all wonked off. On top of that, I start working full time, so I'm trying to find a moment to do SF while I get myself into a gym. I'll update my workout log tomorrow.

Re: Simplefit buddy to keep me honest?
Short of having a friend to work out with, keeping a log and posting pictures of oneself are the best motivators. They keep you honest and show your progress. If GCal notifications aren't working for you, consider logging your workouts by hand, in a little notebook. Keep it real! This is what I did...

Re: Kaos' goal/background
At the start Male Age: 24 Weight: 205 Lb Height: 1.74 m (5'9'') Current state (at 40th week) Weight: 160 Lb Goal Weight: 170-165 Lb Nice, so I'm at 160Lb right now and feel pretty good with the way I look. I've been getting some "try to not get too thin now" advice, which I agree with, and...

Re: Kaos' goal/background
Well done, man! That's a really significant achievement! I know from experience that it's a weird feeling to hit your goal and wondering where to go next. Maybe now your goals can be based on feats of strength or in your sf progression rather than weight. Yup, I'm having a hard time deciding where ...

Re: Kaos' log
41th week (May 14-18) Notes: So, I decided to stop SimpleFit one week to decide whether or not I wanted to keep doing it every week or just one week on and one week off; the reason being that I'm currently at 160 Lb and I don't really want to keep losing any more weight lest I end up all sickly loo...

Re: Kaos' log
Keep at it! It doesn't take much space, but having the (minimal) proper set up does make a big difference--both in motivation and execution. That's right, but for the time being I'm going to change my usual body rows for bicycle crunches; I've been meaning to work a little more on my abdominal area...
