Re: lat pull down
Shepherd's response is a good one (so is cheapos  ) 3 pull-downs = 1 pullup. But keep in mind before I did simplefit, I could pulldown the entire weight stack but had to kick and struggle to do one pull-up. Pull-ups just involve so much more than pull-downs. I understand you're working your w...

Re: On Pullups
The best way to increase your ability to do real pull-ups is to do real pull-ups. Back before I tried simplefit and dedicated myself to a goals of improving my pullups, I was able to lift the entire lat-pulldown rack but struggled and kicked to do a single pull-up. They're just different muscles inv...

Remember there is a fine line between good form and intensity. This doesn't mean that good form isn't something to strive for, but as far as Day 3 goes, you're looking for intensity and while good form and strict movements have their place, doing Day 3 with perfect form over 10 minutes, isn't as int...

No one is going to tell you to stop doing something you like to do. Simplefit also has a running program if you want to check that out but it sounds like you are an experienced runner and know what you like. My only advice would be to listen to your body. Be sure to log your progress. If you seem to...

That's good work right there. For everyone that said I don't have time to go to the gym, you're the reason they're full of bullshit. Also, I can see how much bigger your arms are and more defined as well. That's what surprised me the most about simplefit. I was worried that not training arms would m...

Lol, gay massage stole your photos. Hey, I think I'd be flattered. Over the winter I went for more of a bodybuilding style of routine for a couple of months. I put on a few pounds of muscle but some fat too (diet not as good as it should be). I've gotten back into crossfit to trim down a bit for the...

time is 9:53. amazing considering i hate doing these. i have to force myself to do this and i lose motivation a lot, so it was surprising that i could actually do this. i can do 15 per 30 seconds and calculated, 30 per minute. the goal should really be doing 100 in 4 minutes with no rest. i mean re...

Re: Week 12, Day 3
We are planning on getting through level 8 with the body rows and then start over with the pallet bands. Oh awesome, I had given out this advice as a possible alternative a couple of times before but never saw anyone try it. I was always curious how this would work as far as progression goes. I mea...

Why are you worried so much about weight? Got someting against gravity? Do you feel/look better? Can you get a good fat test done? Are you jst beginning a fitness program? I ask these questions because: 1: IF you look and feel better, then getting depressed because of the earth's pull on you is sill...

Let's see how you feel once you get to, oh, say Level 5 or 6. If it's still easy, then kudos to you.Greatztin wrote:day 3 you only do 1 round as fast as possible thats it ? tahts fairly easy no ?

Re: When to move up
I can't do ten pull-ups yet for L1D3, but L1D2 seems easy. Should I move to level two or keep plugging away until I can do ten pull-ups without jumping. Thanks, Jeff It's really up to you. Are you happy with your Level 1 performance? If so, no one is going to call you out for moving up a level. May...
