Had the same problem, takes time to build up strength. What worked for me is doing 3 to 5 sets of 1 and gradually worked up - done this in conjunction with another program called maxcapacitytraining before I switched to simplefit and I can now do 8 pullups quite easily. So you can work your way from the bottom up using 'If the workouts take longer than 30 minutes or less than 5 minutes, decrease or increase your level, respectively' as a gauge? Does that apply to days two and three since day one is set at 20 m...

I'm training for an obstacle race so I think building speed and muscular endurance will help more. Will add some slop, thanks again for the info!
