Sorry to halt your parading but its alot more about what type of food you put in than the number of calories, which really have little to do with how the body uses fuel.

Hormonal status primarily insulin level is probably going to be a greater determinant of body composition than calories in calories out.

Eliminate refined carbohydrates from your diet and calories will not really matter.

the body's natural state is paleo/low insulin so I think natural is best which man not mean "big" but it does mean healthy.
