Have you considered an Android App

Re: Have you considered an Android App
Been a bit busy recently with work so haven't been able to progress this much, but thought I'd post so you know we haven't completely forgot.
Been looking at optimal UIs lately and how to keep it clean and simple.
We are also running though some tutorials and books to ensure we go about it the right way, making it easier to expand and improve on as we want to add functionality.
Your ideas on the facebook intergration and challenges are cool, as we mentioned things like that are a lot more complex to implement so will take more time. But that doesn't stop us thinking about it!
Although more complex the gamecenter and facebook APIs are hopefully well documented and help us to implement some of these features.

Re: Have you considered an Android App
I don't know if anyone else is planning on doing an Android version, but It looks like my contract work should be lightening soon *hopefully* so I will do my best to try and get something together and let you guys know.
Some short background. I actually found simplefit through Cheapo posting his progress on Mark's Daily Apple forums and his mentioning of it.
I love the concept and the straightforward way to increase difficulty, and I really love that a guy like me who hasn't done ANY real exercise in the past 3ish years can get started quickly and easily.
I'll do my best to work on this, but it's my first actual android app (usually I do database work) so I don't know how fast this task will go.
cheers,
Bryce

Hello All,
I'm new here, and plan to start simplefit next week. I would like to make also an android app for teaching myself Android devel and staying motivated, but don't expect too much.

Hi all. I'm new too and was looking for an android app. Has anyone made any progress? If not is the community still interested in a simple app?
Re: Have you considered an Android App
I've been following along with the simplefit workout plan (it's awesome btw), and I also followed through on the android app
It's not pretty, but it's free and I'm pretty sure it works. I'd love feedback, and if anyone is a visual designer who has ideas of how to make it look better, please get in touch.
