Taking it easy. Head still stuffy. This has got to be a record of most colds caught in a year.

Hey thanks for the links to the intermediate and advanced. Good stuff to look forward to.

in Intermediate Level 8 day 2 looks an awful lot like the Filthy 50 of crossfit.

Still after it. Did an 18 mile trail race on Feb 13 and rolled my ankle twice pretty badly. Pulled out of race at mile 12 but needed to take it easy on the ankle for a while.

Feb 19 I did Cardio X from p90x.

Today I did 20 cards from deck workout: pushups, situps, jumping jacks, burpees
Then 20 reps each w/ resistance band: heavy pants, overhead press, rows

Will try to get back on the simplefit bandwagon this week.

Updates that I forgot to post (I post them in my workout log at beginnertriathlete.com).

3 March
Tabata pullups during run: 8x20s/10s
Deck of cards workout in pm: 104 squats, pushups, situps, jumping jacks

5 March
Tabata pullups during run: 8x20s/10s

8 March
Tabata pullups: 8x20s/10s during run

25 March
10 pushups, 20 squats and 20 situps: resetting the 100 pushups, 200 squats and 200 situps programs.

26 March
38 situps, 33 squats, 25 pushups

28 March
49 situps, 44 squats, 33 pushups

This weekend I have an ultramarathon. After that, no long distance racing until next year. Not sure how much I'll be running (probably ~20 miles per week) and so I'm hoping to get back to SimpleFit in a few weeks.

swim 2x/week
run 3-4x/week
yoga 2x/week
SimpleFit 3x/week
other strength training 3x/week
