Re: Rosencrantz1's log
Very nice! I really want to increase my max pull-up set. That's a slow hard process.

Re: Rosencrantz1's log
Thanks! And, yes, it is hard. And I also find that I can do that one big set up front, and then have to do sets of 2-3 the rest of the way.

Re: Rosencrantz1's log
W3 L6 D2 - much more focused on time today; 5 rounds in 5:30 total (over a minute off of last week's time, where I was more form-focused and not worried about my time)

Re: Rosencrantz1's log
W3 L6 D3 - 6:20. Only a six-second improvement over last week. Still, it's something

Re: Rosencrantz1's log
Any improvement is moving in the right direction. And, truth be told, doing L6D3 in 6:20 is really something!

Re: Rosencrantz1's log
32 rounds for level 6? That's incredible. You set a pretty high bar.

Re: Rosencrantz1's log
W4 L6 D1 - 32 rounds again. Form was a bit more solid this time around, I thought. Only missed getting my chin over the bar in the 3rd pull-up rep on the last set or two; otherwise, boom!
Re: Rosencrantz1's log
You're some sort of machine, dude. Reading your log is an inspiration!

Re: Rosencrantz1's log
which part of the workout is affecting your time? I thought w/ 32 rounds in D1 you would breeze thru D3 in a flash.Rosencrantz1 wrote:W4 L6 D2 - 5:47 (:17 longer than last week)
either way you are beast... keep it up!

Re: Rosencrantz1's log
Just to be clear, that was my D2 time (total time on work rounds, 3 min between rounds), not my D3.
I couldn't say what, exactly, is the hardest part of D3 for me. I think it's probably the pull-ups. I'm doing 15 in my first set, but the remaining 17 tend to be in tiny sets of 2-3. I have wondered, and I might try this today, if doing a shorter first set might actually help me? Like doing 10, then trying for a second big set.
I'm doing D3 today, so we'll see what happens...
