Re: franklymydarling's log
Yesterday was a wash. Going to stretch after I finish this log. Lvl 4, d3, 6:27. The Android app crapped out and logged it as 21659:12!?!?! Don't know what that's all about. So, on target with my goals. Should level up next month.

Re: franklymydarling's log
Last night, lvl 4, d1, 24 reps. Last three reps took a long time, but I got through the halfway point better than before. I feel that I'm pushing fatigue off the 20 minute mark; if I can push fatigue out passed the twenty minute mark, I can get at least two more reps in and keep my 40 second average.

Re: franklymydarling's log
Busy day yesterday, didn't get time to do anything.
Today, Lvl 4, d2, 5:37. Slipped a bit, but felt like I had good form on pulls and pushes (kept thumbs down, good levering). Squats seemed higher than normal, maybe I'm just more fixated on better form.

Busy week ... Anyway, lvl 4, d3, 7:18. Slipped again, I'm looking forward to rest week to regroup. Pull-ups are slow because I'm going harder: 9,4,2,3,2. There were a few that had a bit of kip to them, though. Pushes are still 21,10,10. Tried to desktop go deep squats, no stop as usual.

Re: franklymydarling's log
Rest week, my goal is to do all 10 pull-ups in Day 3 without rests.
Lvl 1, d1, 37 reps. I was tired, then I realized I was dehydrated. I usually have water with, but today it was just the morning coffee. I had to pause halfway through and go get water.
Since I was leveling down, I concentrated on form and transitions. Transitioning into the squats from the push-ups has been awkward. I tend to lunge up with my right leg. This time, I concentrated on a clean up pull-up with a slow negative, tucking down to a full squat. Then I, moved into push-up position with my left leg and concentrated on making straight-armed push-ups. Then, I stepping into a full tuck with my right leg and rose up to do the squat position. I did not count that rise from the tuck as a squat; I guess you potentially could, but it lacks the negative motion.

Re: franklymydarling's log
Last night, Lvl 1, d2, 3:00
Form was solid, I'm using the door threshold for the push-ups, seems to be more stable for my hand placement. Still finessing my transitions into different exercises minimize time; these might become almost burpee-like in the end.

Re: franklymydarling's log
So I didn't realize that D1 and D2 were on consecutive days, hope that provides some indication that I've been busy (or early onset dementia
).
This morning: Lvl 1, D3, 1:51
I met my goal handily this morning. I performed all my exercises in successive repetition without pause. My form was good, I kept a good pace on the pull-ups until the ninth, I broke form slightly on the last one, but I didn't kip. The push-ups could be deeper, i.e. I feel that I'm levering more than pushing straight up with my forearms. The squats seemed sufficiently deep but I want to go only a couple inches from the ground. At any rate, there is always room for improvement. I'm really happy with this rest week and the chance to revisit my form and mechanics.

Re: franklymydarling's log
Back from rest week, it's always tough. Set a goal for 25, but I came up short at 22. I almost made 23, but the timer ran out on me ... On the flip side, my form was better than ever! The time devoted to form on rest week paid off today and, hopefully, going forward.
Lvl 4, D1, 22 reps.

I tried to go slow, concentrate on form, go deep in the squats, and 3 minute rest between sets.

Lvl 4, D3, 7:24 (pulls: 5,5,3,2+x,2, 2,2; pushes:11,10,10,5,5; squats: non-stop)
Whew. I honestly psyched myself out this morning and it shows. Hard to go from great form with good form on D2 to today. Got to get back on stretches and body line exercises to build core.

Re: franklymydarling's log
Lvl 4, D1, 17 reps
I came home from work, dawdled for a bit, got my various electronics and water together, and finally settled in for the workout. I had an app failure at 10 reps (I was having trouble hitting the Rep complete button while my phone was plugged in), I think that I was at about 11 minutes through the set ... Anyway, I regrouped, put aside my fatigue and laziness and started over from scratch. So not a great score today, but definitely a mental victory because I was able to regroup and get it done.

Rare night out last night, so I did my exercises this morning. I am back closer to my better times on day two. Deep squats seem to be hard right now, I remember just tearing through them. This is probably a good indication that my form has improved. My push ups could've been tighter, too, but my hand position was firm. Lastly, I'm also have a hard time transitioning from the plank position to the squat, I need to tuck in and get straight up with more fluidity.
