If you feel like you have hit a plateau or you are having joint/tendon pain increase your recovery. Try working out every 3rd day that will give you 48 hrs of rest. This will work wonders for many of you especially advanced level people.
example
day 1
rest 2 days
day 2
rest 2 days
day 3
rest 2 days
day 1
.................... and so on

I think I'm going to try this, it might help me. I've definitely hit a plateau. No joint/tendon pain I think, except for just being sore/stiff the day after a workout (and sometimes on the second day too).
I just have to make sure I don't let this slide into only working out once a week or whatever.

Funny, because I just got a twinge in my shoulder the other day while showing my son how to use the rings to do push-ups. I forgot I'm not 18 anymore and didn't warm up. I was going to do Day 3 today, but I think I'll do something less intense today and move D3 to tomorrow.
