D1L6:- 24 (+2 cf. previous, -7 cf. PR)
I had a cold over the weekend, and I left work early today, but I still worked out.
I went hard and sacrificed a little form to get more rounds. Hot, sweaty, gasping for breath: that's how it should be!
D2L6:- Skipped.
D3L6:- 07:45 (-0:54 cf. Previous, +02:51 cf. PR)
Pull-ups: 32 (16-6-5-3-2)
Push-ups: 64 (26-10-8-5-5-5-5)
Squats: 64 (64)
I love the race-against-the-clock aspect of SimpleFit, but, despite my best intentions, I do find I sacrifice form to beat the clock. I did so, a little, today.

D1L6:- 25 (+1 cf. previous, -6 cf. PR)
I turned 42 yesterday.
I workout in my living room. Some days, I come home from work, ready to squeeze in my workout before supper, and there's a nice hot fire going in the woodstove...and I have no choice but workout right in front of it.
Today was one of those days. It was HOT!

Pull-ups: 32 (18-4-4-4-2)
Push-ups: 64 (32-6-8-6-6-6)
Squats: 64 (64)
Pull-ups had a lot of body movement, but good range of motion. Everything else was fine.

Harrumph.
I thought I had done 24 rounds last week, so this week I aimed for 25.
As it turns out, I did not recall correctly, and had, in fact, done 25 last week.
Bummer.
On the plus side, I did do one extra round after the buzzer.

Pull-ups: 32 (16-4-4-4-2-1-1)
Push-ups: 64 (20-12-10-8-6-6)
Squats: 64 (51-13)
I am feeling stronger than I have felt in a while. Despite this, pull-ups had a lot of body movement, and only so-so range of motion. Push-ups had compromised ROM too.

Great workout, I find your progress photos inspiring.
Just wondering if you've ever found the squats to be the movement which limits your workouts, or have your always met your numbers.

Re: cheapo's log
I like the way you annotate your workouts. If you don't mind I kinda did the same with my logs. LOL

Re: cheapo's log
Great times! Maddog and I were reflecting on the tendency we have both experienced of seeing the D2 times drop over the sets. It's interesting that you have the same thing.

Re: cheapo's log
For me it's two things that result in the improving times:
- Getting more warmed up (higher heart rate and respiration, warmer muscles) as I go through the workout.
- Getting better at the movements too.

Slower times because I was bringing my chest to the bar. In fact, I was aiming to bring my sternum to the bar, but mid-chest was the best I could manage. Why? Because I read this advice from Ido Portal.
