You know things are looking up when someone pokes you in jest and says, "Wow you got some hard muscles!" heh.

No kidding. I've got two kids and the girl teases me telling me I feel "wrong" when she hugs me because I don't have a soft pillow body anymore. The little boy stares at my biceps when I'm helping him with his shoes and tells me that if my muscles get any bigger they'll explode and asks when his veins will show. I've got aways to go to get where I really want to be but talk about an ego boost. :D

Ok bought my scale for food measurement. Also received my book of starting strength.

Contemplating when to start the starting strength program. Not sure yet.

Guess this is where I should be posting. been putting stuff in my log book. Essentially I was doing good. Injured the shoulder and thought I was being a wuss with the workouts. Rested it with no fix. did the meds and physical therapy and ultimately comes back positive for anterior labral tear. So,

now I'm kinda in limbo. going to change my workout a bit I think and just do a similar but different workout.

You know what's funny about Starting Strength (1st ed.)?

The 2nd or 3rd page of the book is a big blank page emblazoned with the (non)word "Foreward"

Ooops.

Not a progress update, more like a digress update.

pullups- 0
pushups- maybe 12[did 10 yesterday before my shoulder started talking to me]
squats- meh not much point in checking the max of these without pullups and pushups. prbly half of what I could do before.

I feel this is the best place to be posting, I once injured the shoulder and blamed it on the workouts. I later on decided to rest it as I did little therapy in pursuit of fixing it. As usual, I would habitually rest on the https://hovement.com/best-feather-pillows/ pillows which I'm ascertained your daughter is somehow visualizing about when she say that she doesn't get the 'soft pillow body' feeling anymore.Currently, I'm contemplating of changing my workout a bit.
