Week 1:
L3D1 - 18 rounds
L3D2 - 5:20
L3D3 - 7:20 and cheated with a toe on a chair for the last 5 pull ups.
Should I move down a level? I'm travelling right now and the pull up bar is the pull down bar on a weight machine, so it's easy because my back just slides up the back of the seat. When I get home the pull ups will be harder cause I use rope.

Re: Destination
I am just starting out in this, so I might not be the most qualified advice giver. You might want to take this with a grain of salt. You're completing your day3 workout in 7 min and 20 sec. Unless you think that the harder "rope" pullups will add more than 22 min and 40 sec to your workout(according to the 30 min or less is o.k. rule) You're probably o.k. 22 min 20 sec is a long time.
Re: Destination
Oh, thanks! I must have missed the 30 minute rule before.
Re: Destination
This week I'm going slower and steadier with better form, no cheats or substitutions. My D1 rounds were the same, 18, but I plugged through steadily with no rests instead of starting out super fast and then almost puking and taking breaks like the first week (good or bad?). D2 took longer, but no toes on a chair or knee push ups at the end.
Friday will be two weeks! I have no scale or tape measure where I am. I'm not seeing much difference yet, but I'm gonna do pics again Friday since they're my only form of measuring right now. I did see my arm in the mirror while I was doing a pull up and hey, I've got some muscles!

Two week pictures and holy crap I think I see a difference! Not in real life, but in the pics! Yay!
Re: Destination
Week 2
L3D1 18 rounds
L3D2 8:16 (good form no cheats)
L3D3 4:38 (toe on chair for last 13 pull ups)
Not leveling up.
Question: last week I put in max effort and felt like I was dying every workout and I was so sore by the end of the week I could barely do all the squats on d3 (I have a pretty active life too - there was lots of bike riding and a couple sprints involved in the legs hurting). This week I took it slow and steady, had very minimal soreness and was able to make it through d3 with much less breaks and way less cheats and better time. Which way am I supposed to be doing it? Or some in between way?
