Gained 5lbs this week. Probably lost fat.
Still at L1
The pullups will keep me there for a while. I want to get to where the diffficulty of the pullups levels with the pushups and squats. Once it's only endurance I'm working on, THEN I'll move up.
Anyone else have the length - weight ratio which results in VERY difficult pullups?
At 6'4 and 235, I have a standing reach of 8'5. That's a long pull with some heavy weight. I imagine that as I "progress" and gain muscle from the pushups and squats (and the bit of pullups) that I will go backwards in the pullups first. We'll see.

I did a measure of BF% on my cheap electronic thing and got 33.7%! I went directly to the mirror and gave myself a critical look-over. I am NOT 1/3 fat!!! My chest is 48inches! My legs are a volleyball players legs!! I'm 6'4"!!! I have virtually no fat on my arms!
I came here to see if there were other methods besides the immersion method I could use immediately.
I saw Kevin's post about the waist measurement method for BF%.
Did a search and ended up here
http://www.linear-software.com/online.html
According to this my BF% is 22% - now this I believe. I know it's still high and my hip/waist ratio is 1.02 which also needs to improve. But I knew I was not at 33%
Moral of the story - chuck the electronic thing![/url]

I am a Math Prof.
Found the actual Equation:
% body fat = 86.010 x log10(abdomen II - neck) - 70.041 x log10(height) + 36.76
