46 rounds
92 pullups, 184 pushups, 276 squats
Yeah so I did not workout all last week, I had birthday parties galore to attend and plan my 1 year old's birthday kept me busy. Also had my mother in law come in so lots of things happening. But either way the rest was great. I started my level 4 week at 4:30 this morning. I was able to complete 46 rounds which matches my previous best for this workout. I feel like I could have done way better had I not filled my previous week with horrible eating and drinking, you know common party stuff. I can't be to upset though since I am still on par. I plan to get back to it and crush some previous times. I hope all of yall had a great week and are still working out. Peace

Re: Chongtxtx's Simplefit log
Taking one week off surprisingly helps. Sometimes, the timings improve. Sometimes the weight loss happens. Both work for me
On the other hand, taking two weeks off definitely sets me back. There is clear loss of ability.

Re: Chongtxtx's Simplefit log
Yeah I was tempted to keep the rest coming but I forced myself to pick it up again.

3min 23 sec
20 pullups, 60 pushups, 100 squats
Not a bad workout I beat my time by a good 37 seconds. I chose to pay really good attention to my squats today made sure I pretty much bottomed out and had full hip opening at the top. I also shortened the rest periods to 2 minutes instead of my usual 3 minutes. All and all not a bad workout I hope all of yall have great workouts as well.

This workout was pretty quick I was able to work through the whole thing without taking a break. I don't think I will make much more improvement without sacrificing good form. But with that said it got me breathing pretty heavy. Can't wait to start up my level 7 quest again. Have a great day everyone.!

Whew this one was hard. I am hoping that it because of my 2 easy weeks basically one complete week off and than a week at level 4. So I hope to be back to regular performance next week. I am definitely going to be incorporating a lot of running. I hope all of y'all have a great day!

40 pullups, 95 pushups, 200 squats
So I was slower but my pullups were no problems. I did not almost fail any reps if that makes sense. After the workout I went for a 2.2 mile run not bad I felt pretty good for that. I hope all of yall have great days.

Re: Chongtxtx's Simplefit log
Holy***, 96 pullups in 20 mins! You go man. You must be built like a rock to do that.
Re: Chongtxtx's Simplefit log
Thanks JK, nah just your average dude!
So I have been feeling under the weather the past 2 weeks so I took a break. I just started working out again so it very demoralizing lol. so lets get these workouts posted.
6/28/2014
L7D3
9min 25 sec
40 pullups, 80 pushups, 80 squats
So after my two week break this workout sucked. But on the plus side I was able to at least finish it. I was still feeling sick during the workout so I am sure that did not help. Whatever though onto the next workout.

L7D1
21 rounds
84 pullups, 168 pushups, 252 squats
This workout went well in my opinion after a 2 week hiatus and feeling sore from the previous workout I pushed through the mental part and finished the workout. honestly I thought I was only going to be able to get about 10-15 rounds and I surprised myself. I will be traveling next week for 2-3 weeks so hopefully I can find a place to workout and I have a PT test for the Air Force in that time frame, time to see how all this working out has paid off. I hope all of yall are having great workouts and pushing through any barriers/obstacles. Have a great day!

I impressed my daughter and her cousins with your numbers. The numbers are too big for them to comprehend. Good luck with your Air Force test. I am sure you will do well.
Re: Chongtxtx's Simplefit log
Wow jk. Thanks for the confidence boost. I am really trying hard to do well with this system. So here we go.
7/2/2014
Ltd
8 min 22 sec
40 pullups, 120 pushups, 200 squats
Yikes this was hard. I am still trying to get my strength back from my 2 week break. I took 3 minute breaks in between rounds with the exception of the last round I took a give minute one. It got done whew!
7/5/2014
7 min 20 sec
40 pullups, 80 pushups, 80 squats
So yeah have I mentioned that these workouts are tough lol. This workout was good because I knocked 2 mins off my previous time and I am not that far off from my PR for this workout. I was able to do 29 pullups before I got a rip in my hands and had to break them up. The pushups were by far the hardest. I think next week will be better. I hope all of tall have some great workouts.

Re: Chongtxtx's Simplefit log
Really nice numbers.
Have you made any modifications to SF?
I've been dabbling in this routine over the last few years and pretty much hovered around level 6 almost 7.
Lost motivation several times, decided in my wisdom to modify the activities a few times... burned out doing diamond pushups / close grip chins and then fell of the exercise wagon!
Main issue being pull-ups over chin-ups....
A lot of people swear by SF, even to the extent to no accessory work required.. however I've always found it hard to accept that pullups can significantly work / build biceps, hence my previous switch to chins.
What are your thoughts on this?
